MUNCIE, Ind. — A Muncie man’s murder trial has been set.

In court on Wednesday, Judge John Feick scheduled Brady Turner’s trial for Feb. 25.

Turner has been charged with murder, after being accused of stabbing and killing Chris Burgess Jr. during an argument on Sept. 17., according to the Muncie Star Press.

Turner initiated a two day police search all over Muncie. He was arrested Sept. 19 in Anderson after trying to break into a house.

Turner tried to tell police he stabbed Burgess in self defense, saying Burgess fired a gunshot at him.

If convicted Turner could spend up to 55 years in prison.
