HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. — Sheriff’s deputies are investigating the accidental drowning of a child in Hamilton County.
Deputies were called to a home along Mill Farm Road in Noblesville shortly after 1:00 p.m. Monday on a missing person call.
Deputies believe a toddler and a sibling opened the front door of their house while their mother was in the shower and wondered off.
The mother soon found one of the children but could not find the other. Deputies searched and found the second child in a creek nearby.
Deputies performed CPR on the child until paramedics arrived and took the child to Riverview Health where they were pronounced dead.
