There’s rarely a day that goes by that Conservatives don’t collectively celebrate the failure of Ohio Governor John Kasich to secure the Republican nomination in his 2016 run for President. It just feels ‘good’ to go to sleep at night and awake in the morning, secure in the knowledge that Presidential hopeful John Kasich will never actually become President Kasich.
(Actually, we heard a rumor that he and his wife do some role-playing in the bedroom, but that’s between them.)
Anyway, from what we’ve seen in the last 24 hours, John-Boy Kasich has apparently shifted his focus away from politics and is now eyeing a career as a televangelist preacher. During an appearance on CNN Thursday, Pastor Kasich professed his moral superiority in a vomit-inducing rant in which he proclaimed “the Lord” didn’t want Americans to build walls and reject the migrant caravan that is heading to the United States from Central America.
Okey dokey, Pastor; message received. Now then, let us pass the offering plate to collect for Johnny’s mental health counseling.
