It’s going to be a busy weekend in the Indy metro, with a presidential visit on Friday and Saturday and a marathon on Saturday.
President Trump’s Visit
President Trump will rally Friday night at Southport High School. After the rally, his motorcade will head to the J.W. Marriott in Indianapolis for an overnight stay.
Streets around the J.W. Marriott will close Friday night at 6:00pm and reopen Saturday morning at 10:45.
Monumental Marathon
Ironically, these closures are adjacent to the start/finish of the Monumental Marathon. Drivers can expect the above streets to close Saturday at 7:00am and reopen at 3:00pm.
As usual, the race course is HUGE, and requires the closure of several major thoroughfares around Indianapolis. Check it out:
If you’re planning to be out and about the city, plan ahead and plan accordingly, and expect long delays if you’re anywhere around downtown or the race course!
