When you’re extraordinarily talented AND you know the right people, you get to do some pretty cool things.

Case in point: professional vocalist Lydia Ann Abbott, who will sing the National Anthem at Friday night’s Trump rally in Indianapolis.

This isn’t Lydia’s first time singing in front of Mr. Trump, although this is her first opportunity to perform at one of his events since he was elected to office.

Lydia stopped by the Hammer and Nigel show prior to the rally to share some amazing stories about her background and how she wound up being chosen to sing at her first Trump event when he was just one of many Republican candidates; however, it was the insight she’s gained into what it’s like to work for Donald Trump that really caught our attention.

Abbott:

“I got to meet a lot of the Secret Service and the people who work for him, and I think it was really cool to talk to them because they said he is an amazing man to work for. I know he has a certain persona on stage, but in person he is super humble, super grateful, very down to earth and everyone says that they love working for him.”
