Indiana Senator Jim Merritt was one of many Republicans to walk away with a victory in Tuesday’s election.
Wednesday afternoon, Senator Merritt dropped by the Hammer and Nigel show to discuss his win and assess the political landscape heading into 2019.
Merritt:
“This election was a difficult one simply by virtue of the fact that I’ve been in there for a while and people have a tendency to think you don’t want it anymore; that he’s old; that he’s been in there too long. And it got the hair on the back of my neck up a little bit, so I went to work.“
