With Bobby Petrino leaving Louisville, the rumors have begun about who will replace him. At the forefront of the speculation is Purdue head coach Jeff Brohm.

WIBC host Tony Katz was joined by Kevin Bowen from 107.5/1070 The Fan Tuesday with insights.

Bowen:

“I think Purdue has got to take a look at themselves and wonder if this is the one job that Jeff Brohm could go and leave for. He has a lot of ties to the Louisville area, went to high school there, went to Louisville. I think his younger brother was a quarterback there as well. On the surface, there are a lot of strong ties. But I think when Brohm looks himself in the eye, he’s going to realize that there isn’t a lot of separation between going to Louisville and succeeding there at a high level versus doing the same thing at Purdue.”
