INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is searching for a man accused of child molestation.

IMPD tweeted Tuesday morning that it is looking for Alejandro Batana.

He is wanted for four counts of child molestation.

According to documents obtained from the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office, Batana raped two young girls. One of them provided info to investigators, saying it happened between 2009 and 2013 and started when she was about five or six years old.

She told investigators that she woke up to find Batana touching her private parts when it happened the first time.

According to court documents, she said that “‘he did it’ to her every day” and that he said to “don’t say anything” to her mom.

She told her mother about it in late September of 2018. She said she would leave notes on his desk saying “I don’t want you to do this to me anymore.” She said the last time he did anything to her, she was twelve years old.

Another juvenile girl corroborated claims. She said Batana went by the nickname “Big Alex” and said that her friend told her that “‘Big Alex’ would put it in her every day,” according to court documents.

The victim would try to stay at the friend’s house on weekends or have the friend stay with her because he “would not do it if [name redacted&#93 was at their house.”

The friend also told investigators that Batana tried to “convince” the victim to say anything because he would get in trouble.

According to court documents, the friend met with Batana to speak and he said “he would be ready because this is not true and he would have lawyers ready and he told [name redacted&#93 that she did the wrong thing and she would be ruining her life.”

When IMPD detectives attempted to interview Batana on Oct. 23, he invoked his fifth amendment rights.

IMPD is asking that you call 911 if you know where to find him.
