INDIANAPOLIS — Officials are investigating after a man was shot and killed early Saturday morning.
It happened just before 2:25 a.m. when officers were dispatched to the 2900 block of Mussman Drive for a person shot. The area is just north of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Upon arrival, a 58-year-old man was located suffering from a gunshot wound and was taken to the hospital in critical condition. He was transported to the hospital where he later died of his injuries.
Suspect or victim information have yet to be released.
It is not yet known what may have led to the shooting.
