INDIANAPOLIS — A dedication for the mural in downtown Indianapolis of former Indiana Pacer star Reggie Miller was held Tuesday.

The mural is 60 feet tall and is on the side of a building on East Michigan Street.

Pacers play-by-play announcer Mark Boyle and team consultant and former President Donnie Walsh spoke at the dedication.

Miller was not in attendance, but addressed the crowd via video recording.

“Donnie Walsh. Thank you. It was you that got the ball rolling in 1987 by drafting me. Do you remember all of those boo birds? Now we’re on the side of a building!”, Miller said on the video.

He also thanked the artist who painted the mural, Pamela Bliss.
