COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State University now has its very own bacon vending machine.

The machine is located at the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences. It offers bacon bits and strips of cooked bacon for $1.

The machine is sponsored by the Ohio Pork Council and it serves bacon donated by Sugardale Foods, Hormel Foods, and Smithfield.

All of the money collected by the vending machine will go toward Ohio State’s meat science program.

The tasty $1 bacon won’t be around forever, though —  the bacon vending machine’s last day on campus is December 13.
