NATIONWIDE — Before you give your baby liquid ibuprofen you may want to check the label.

infants’ ibuprofen under the store brand names Equate, Family Wellness and CVS Health have been recalled by Tris Pharma out of New Jersey.

The ibuprofen could contain higher amounts of the drug than it should. 

It’s sold at Walmart, CVS and Family Dollar stores. 

If you think you may have bought some of the ibuprofen look for an expiration date for August 2019. If you bought it from Walmart the expiration dates also include February and April.

Side effects you should be on the look out for are nausea, vomiting, and possible diarrhea. If your child is experiencing any of these, you are advised to call your doctor.
