A week after Mika Brzezinski apologized (and got a pass) for making homophobic remarks on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Fox News host Tucker Carlson is losing sponsors for comments he made regarding mass immigration.

During his Thursday evening opening monologue, the host suggested that immigrants make the United States “poorer and dirtier.”

The growing backlash against Carlson has prompted more than a dozen companies to pull advertisements from the air during his prime-time show, including IHOP and Ancestry.com.

WIBC host Tony Katz told listeners Wednesday that the treatment of Mika Brzezinski versus Tucker Carlson shows why conservatives are losing this fight:

“The left pushes, and demands and boycotts because they understand pressure points. And then you get people like Chris Cuomo and Don Lemon who pile on.

…There is not and cannot be a difference between Mika Brzezinski and Tucker Carlson if you decide that if you say anything that is in any way questionable, it is an offense.

…Conservatives are held to one standard and liberals are held to another, but the right will NOT engage in those tactics because they’re not willing to do so. You’re unserious if you’re unwilling to fight.”
