INDIANAPOLIS — A homicide investigation is underway on the city’s west side, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
The shooting happened in the 2600 block of Jackson Street just before 8 a.m.
After arriving on scene, the male victim, who appeared to have been shot multiple times, was found on a porch.
At the time, police said the victim was transported to Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition.
IMPD later said the victim did pass away due to their injuries.
No suspect or victim information has been released.
