EVANSVILLE, Ind. — A match of fingerprints is what investigators say led them to a man who stole more than 30 pairs of women’s underpants from a home four years ago.

Aaron Otto, 32, of Newburgh, was arrested Saturday after police say they matched his fingerprints to a burglary in 2014.

Police say they were able to connect Otto to that crime after they were able to identify him from fingerprints left on sexual notes he is accused of leaving on the vehicles on women who are students at the University of Southern Indiana last September.

Otto was taken to the Vanderburgh County Jail and faces burglary and theft charges.
