INDIANAPOLIS — A body was found behind a dumpster Wednesday morning on the northeast side of Indianapolis.
Police say a 22-year-old man was found dead around 2:30 a.m. on Kingsmead Drive at the Canterbury House Apartments near East 47th Street and Franklin Road in Lawrence.
Investigators say the man had been shot.
Police haven’t released the man’s name or given out any details on who they believe may have shot him.
On Sunday, a body was found inside a dumpster on Teddy Drive at Country Club Apartments on the south side of Indianapolis. Officers haven’t given out any additional information on that case, but they are calling it a murder investigation.
