The partial U.S. government shutdown is in its 11th day at the dawn of 2019, with lawmakers and President Donald Trump still at odds over his demand for money to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexican border.

“And the argument being made by the Democrats is that this will all come to an end if Republicans would just do what they want. 

…The American people did not vote for several of the candidates in office because they want things to remain as normal – they want things to be different and many Americans do want border security, and we should be focussed on border security.”
