ATLANTA — The dynasty continues for the New England Patriots.

It was the lowest-scoring Super Bowl ever with the defense coming up big as they edged the Los Angeles Rams 13-3 at Super Bowl 53 in Atlanta.

Stephon Gilmore intercepted Rams quarterback Jared Goff with 4:17 left to seal the deal for the Pats.  Sony Michel rushed for 94 yards and the game’s only touchdown for New England.

Julian Edelman caught 10 passes for 141 yards to take home the Most Valuable Player award.  Tom Brady shook off an early interception and passed for 262 yards in the win.

“We moved the ball decent, but we just couldn’t get the points on the board,” Brady said after the game.” In the end it feels a lot better than last year, when he did get some points on the board. But, just a great win for our team.”

The Patriots now have six Super Bowl victories, which ties the Steelers for the most all-time.  Goff threw for 229 yards in defeat for the Rams.

Todd Gurley and C.J. Anderson combined for 57 yards on the ground and L.A.’s lone score came on a third quarter field goal.
