LAWRENCE, Ind.–They’re being credited for saving a raccoon who was stuck in a grate. That’s the case for the Lawrence Police Department (LPD).
A non-emergency call was made by a person who walked by and saw it stuck Sunday morning.
LPD officers were able to free the raccoon within minutes after getting there. Since then, they have been thanked for their actions on social media.
