WIBC host Tony Katz wants local media outlets to stop bashing the city of Indianapolis.
Katz:
“I’m sick and tired of Indianapolis media looking to destroy the city of Indianapolis. It is one thing if commentary people want to agree or disagree on legislation – hate crimes legislation for example – but focus on the conversation and the merits.
The Indianapolis Star is essentially pleasuring themselves with the idea that we’re going to have another RFRA-like battle and people will be able to attack our city and the state of Indiana. You’re more interested in that than the people of Indiana, than in Hoosiers having a conversation about what it is that they want and what it is that we should do and allow.
It’s gross; I don’t know what they hell is wrong with you. It’s one thing when you disagree, right? It’s another thing when you try and cover your biases as news.”
