Fox Nation and Fox News host Tomi Lahren is hitting back at critics and political pundits taking aim at President Donald Trump in the wake of failed denuclearization talks with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un.

Speaking with WIBC hosts Hammer and Nigel Thursday, Lahren challenged the President’s detractors, adding that “unlike other weak, wimp leaders,” Donald Trump isn’t afraid to walk away from a bad deal.

“Although it’s a little disappointing, it’s not overall very shocking,” said Lahren, adding that negotiations with North Korea are far too complicated to expect an immediate resolution.

Lahren also challenged Democrats’ assertion that the outcome of Wednesday’s discussions between the United States and North Korea indicate that President Trump somehow lacks the political competence to broker a deal.

“A good negotiator doesn’t just take a bad deal if that’s what is being offered,” said Lahren.

“A good negotiator knows when to walk away from the table,” she added.

Lahren also discussed the political circus that took place on Capitol Hill Wednesday, as President Trump’s former lawyer, Michael Cohen testified before congressional leaders on the House Oversight Committee.

“The fact that [democrats] initially demonized [Cohen] up until they heard he was going to come out against President Trump pretty much tells you all you need to know,” said Lahren.

“The left has a hard time choosing their heroes,” she continued. “They did the same thing with James Comey – first they hated him, then they loved him.”

When it comes to President Trump, democrats are only interested in their political agenda, according to Lahren.

“They don’t really care about the truth; they don’t really care about getting to the bottom of anything. They care about doing whatever it takes to torpedo this President.”
