From NBC 4, Los Angeles:

Drivers east of Los Angeles faced an unusual snag during the Thursday morning drive.

Light blue boxes of Modelo were scattered on and below a freeway overpass when a beer truck crashed over the side of the road. The shipment of Modelo Especial spilled from the truck on the westbound 10 Freeway overpass in the West Covina area.

“This is one of those circumstances where alcohol is involved,” said CHP Officer Rodrigo Jimenez. “The good news is that there are no DUI drivers here and there were no arrests.”

The 25-year-old Peterbilt truck driver from Inglewood apparently tried to brake for stopped traffic on the 10 Freeway. The driver avoided cars by using the exit ramp, but the truck toppled over the side of the road and rolled down an embankment.
