WIBC host Guy Relford, The Gun Guy,  joined the Hammer & Nigel Monday to explain why the Riviera Club decided to bow to pressure for social justice warriors and cancel “Fashion and Firearms,” an event intended to coincide with the upcoming NRA convention being held in Indianapolis.

“I saw a letter that was sent to the board of directors that essentially expressed outrage that the Riviera Club would host such an event, which is in fact an event for law-abiding gun owners,” said Relford.

The now-canceled event was being sponsored by Indiana State Rifle and Pistol Association in conjunction with Indiana Girls with Guns.

“I’ve put the word out that I think people ought to be rethinking whether they want to have any association or membership with the Riviera Club now,” said Relford. “They’ve made their views on the Second Amendment well known now.”

Relford also weighed in on Florida state senator and Democrat Jason W. B. Pizzo, who put forth a bill last week that states that anyone younger than 18 years of age “who posts or publishes a picture of a firearm, a BB gun, an air or a gas-operated gun, or a device displayed to resemble a firearm to a social media page, post, profile, or account that is openly viewable to the public commits a misdemeanor of the first degree, punishable” by a fine of $1,000 or up to a year in jail.
