Donald J. Trump, Jr. recently wrote an op-ed about the tech industry that was on point and essentially nailed Big Tech’s overt censorship of conservatives.

While WIBC host Tony Katz agrees with Don Jr.’s argument, he believes the President’s son could have a far more positive impact with his checkbook than his words.

Katz:

“He’s missing the moment. He ends with, ‘If anything, our love of the free market dictates that we must do whatever is necessary to ensure that the free marketplace of ideas remains open to all.’

When conversations come up that we need a competitor to Facebook or Twitter that allows people to speak freely without censorship, the answer for Donald Trump Jr. is to stop writing op-eds for The Hill and start investing in companies that will create competitors.

I say this with all due respect for Donald Trump Jr. – the only reason to have you around is for your checkbook – not for your mind.”
