INDIANAPOLIS — One person is dead following a stabbing on the city’s east side, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
IMPD says officers were called to the 200 block of North Shortridge Road just after 2 a.m. for a report of a person stabbed.
After arriving on scene, a victim, suffering from a stab wound, was located. Responding emergency medical personnel pronounced the man in his 50s dead at the scene.
Police say they are looking for a woman who fled the scene.
