INDIANAPOLIS — An officer with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department was injured in a crash involving a semi Thursday morning.
According to IMPD, an officer’s vehicle was caught under the semi and then the officer’s car struck a wall on I-70 EB near Keystone Avenue at approximately 5:15 a.m.
The semi did remain on scene, police say.
Authorities at the scene said the officer was said to be in fair condition and was being transported to the hospital to be checked out.
