STATEWIDE —  Tyson Foods is recalling nearly 70,000 pounds of chicken strips that may contain metal, the US Department of Agriculture said Thursday.

Products under the recall include:

  • Tyson fully cooked buffalo-style chicken strips in 25-ounce bags
  • Tyson fully cooked crispy chicken strips in 25-ounce bags
  • Spare Time fully cooked buffalo-style chicken strips in a 20-pound case

The recalled products have a use-by date of Nov. 30, 2019.

The USDA says two people have complained about finding metal in their chicken strips but no one has been hurt.

If you have any of the chicken strips, you should throw them away.
