A stammering and moderately coherent Rep. Nancy Pelosi rushed to the defense of Rep. Adam Schiff Thursday amid calls from Republicans for the California Democrat with unnaturally large eyes to resign from his position as Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.
Schiff, who suffers with an overwhelming sexual fetish for proving collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign, came under fire from Republicans this week following the end of special counsel Robert Mueller’s 22-month investigation, which found no evidence of a criminal conspiracy between the Kremlin and Trump’s team.
Rep. Pelosi, who is widely suspected of suffering from the early stages of dementia, said critics of Rep. Bug Eyes are launching desperate attacks to distract from the facts surrounding Trump’s dealings with Russian figures both during and since the 2016 campaign — an issue Schiff and committee Democrats desperately continue to investigate.
“What is the president afraid of?” said a stammering Pelosi. “Is he afraid of the truth, that he would go after … a respected chairman of a committee in the Congress? I think they’re just scaredy cats; they just don’t know what to do. So they have to make an attack.”
