We are back with another The More You Grow. Check out some of your questions you asked Pat and Denny. Now that the weather is warmer we are hearing a lot of questions about fertilizing, lawn care, and pruning!

And never forget: as Aristotle once said, “The more you know grow, the more you know you don’t know grow” or something like that.

Pat gives you a “consultation” for when to start your fertilizing “steps.”

Pat has some advice for anyone who has knockout roses. He talks about when to prune them and how much fertilizer to use and for how long.

Jan wanted to know more about her peonies. She and Pat discuss the best fertilizer for the flowers and how to best take care of them.

Another question Jan had was all about ornamental grass. She has a variety in her yard and wanted to know how to help the hollow part in the middle of the grass. Is burning it a good idea? What’s the best way to divide them? Plus, Denny reveals Dr. Dirt’s secret to cutting back ornamental grasses.

Like many of us, Rodney has several bald spots around the lawn. What’s the best way to fix it? Check it out below.

If you have a Home or Garden question you can call us during the show on Saturdays from 9am-1pm right here on WIBC or send us a question on Facebook
