GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — His parents got rid of his porn collection, now he’s suing them.

Court documents are withholding his name, but the 40-year-old man who had gotten divorced in 2016 moved in with his parents in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He moved out 10 months later having found a home in Muncie.

The man had his things packed up and delivered to his new home, but while he was unpacking he noticed his 12 boxes of pornographic videos and magazines were not among them.

The documents say the man’s parents admitted to dumping the porn. The lawsuit includes an email excerpt from the man’s father, who told his son, “I did you a big favor by getting rid of all this stuff.”

The man says the porn that was thrown out was worth around $29,000. He’s suing his parents for triple that amount.
