FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Someone in Fort Wayne threw a four-month-old puppy in the garbage like it was a piece of trash. Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control is asking for the public’s help in finding whoever is responsible.

The puppy was found March 20 inside a crate in a trash bin on East Masterson Avenue. The dog survived, but has multiple injuries and is now blind. He is being cared for by a foster family as he waits to find his forever home.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control at 260-427-1244.
