Presidential candidate and competitor for title of ‘world’s oldest living socialist’ (most of the REAL socialists starve to death by age 30), Bernie Sanders squirmed and attempted to deflect when asked to explain why he would not voluntarily pay the massive new 52-percent “wealth tax” that he advocates imposing on the country’s richest individuals.

Sanders’ blatant display of hypocrisy took place during a Fox News town hall event in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania on Monday. The plaster saint of the ‘democratic socialist’ movement released ten years of his tax returns just prior to the event, which he acknowledged showed that he had been “fortunate” even as he pushed for a more progressive tax system.

Fortunate indeed, but not so fortunate that he felt the need to ‘pay his fair share.’

Sanders and his wife paid a 26 percent effective tax rate on $561,293 in income, and made more than $1 million in both 2016 and 2017, according to his tax returns. Sanders donated only $10,600 to charity in 2016 and $36,300 in 2017, followed by nearly $19,000 in 2018.

When asked by anchors Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum why he took advantage of the new, lower rate afforded to him by the Trump tax cuts rather than refusing deductions or writing a check to the Treasury Department, Sanders squirmed, stammered and then attempted to deflect entirely.

“Pfft, come on. I paid the taxes that I owe,” Sanders finally muttered. “And by the way, why don’t you get Donald Trump up here and ask him how much he pays in taxes? President Trump watches your network a little bit, right? Hey President Trump, my wife and I just released 10 years. Please do the same.”

Yep, no deflection there!

It’s not just that Senator Sanders is a hypocrite that bothers us. Rather, it is the obvious display of surprise and discomfort when confronted with a question that any MORON in his position would have anticipated. On the other hand, he IS a socialist; how smart can he be?

The Chicks on the Right destroyed socialist Senator Sanders on Tuesday’s show.

“And that’s how the whole hour went! He just deflected or mocked Fox News the entire time. And when Brett Bair asked him ‘When you wrote the book and made the money, isn’t that the definition of capitalism and the American dream?’ And his answer was to say, ‘No, because a lot of people don’t have college degrees and are not U.S. senators.’ What?!?!”

“That makes zero sense. He is a complete lunatic. If you follow this guy and believe in his policies, I question your mental stability. Bernie Sanders is the one who is suggesting that rich people pay a 52{b738c8d81c72d45da79d596f76991eeb044315dc3b27bc6668899a5a04085174} tax rate. Well, lead by example, you psychopath!”
