INDIANAPOLIS — A man from Michigan, is wanted in Indiana and Kentucky, for punching people.

Our media partners at WISH-TV report Keyon Menifield is facing criminal charges in Marion County for assaulting a female hotel worker last year.

Court documents say Menifield rented three rooms at the Red Roof Inn on Shadeland Avenue near 82nd St. When he went to check out, court documents say a hotel employee found marijuana in one room and cigarette butts with a removed smoke detector in another.  When the employee told Menifield he wasn’t getting his deposit back, court documents reveal he got upset and knocked over a computer. The employee ran out of the hotel. That’s when Menifield chased her, punched her in the back of the head, and ran away.

Menifield is charged with battery resulting in bodily injury.

Keyon Menifield also faces felony charges for punching a referee earlier this month at a children’s basketball game in Kentucky. The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office told WISH-TV Menifield likely won’t come to court in Marion County until after the case in Kentucky is over.
