NOBLESVILLE, Ind. — A man was seen beating and kicking a dog in the parking lot of a Village Pantry in Noblesville.

On April 3, Noblesville police were called to the Village Pantry on Westfield Road. A witness told police the suspect, Theodore Harris Jr., had drove off after beating the dog.

A short time later, police were told that Harris and the dog were possibly at the All-Star Veterinary Clinic.

Harris was arrested on April 29, and accused of animal cruelty.

He remains in the Hamilton County Jail, while the dog remains in critical condition at the All-Star Veterinary Clinic where it’s had multiple surgeries.

Animal care cost are currently more than $9,000.
