A “quiet period” ends Thursday in the Delphi double murder investigation.

It’s been more than two years since the murders and two weeks since the release of new clues in the case.

State police said they’d wait to say more – to let new tips coming and allow the families time to absorb the new information.

Indiana State Superintendent Doug Carter appeared on WISH-TV’s Daybreak on Thursday morning.

He said since the release of the new sketch and audio, police have received thousands of new tips.

Carter said that during his most recent press conference about the case two weeks ago that he’s 110{fa7adc80df2e023940cc66418ee6bf3ea4951b478396a103014e7d5f7d7da9d3} convinced the person who committed the murders was watching.

Thursday afternoon, Hammer and Nigel spoke with WISH-TV’s Scott Sander about his interview with ISP Superintendent Doug Carter. Click below to check it out.
