Model Emily Ratajkowski used her social media platform to protest Alabama’s passage of a controversial abortion law bill, which will make abortions in the state illegal under most circumstances. The 27-year-old model expressed her outrage by posing naked with nothing but her arms and a pink anthurium flower petal covering her private parts.

Ratajkowski also included her thoughts on the law, writing, “This week, 25 old white men voted to ban abortion in Alabama even in cases of incest and rape.”

“These men in power are imposing their wills onto the bodies of women in order to uphold the patriarchy and perpetuate the industrial prison complex by preventing women of low economic opportunity the right to choose to not reproduce.”

“The states trying to ban abortion are the states that have the highest proportions of black women living there. This is about class and race and is a direct attack on the fundamental human rights women in the US deserve and are protected by under Roe vs. Wade. Our bodies, our choice.”

WIBC host Tony Katz responded to Ratajkowski’s unconventional protest Friday morning.

“Emily, love the photo. Second, the governor of Alabama is a woman, so this isn’t about men opposing their will onto women’s bodies; you don’t have it right. Also, if you’re going to talk about black women and abortion, you should at least admit that the founder of Planned Parenthood was all in favor of black women having abortions. Do you not know how much she wanted black women to have abortions? Do you not know the racism behind the founding of Planned Parenthood? You just stepped in it all over the place, Emily.”
