INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Authorities searched a pond on the city’s west side in relation to the disappearance of Najah Ferrell, according to the Brown Township Fire Department.

The pond behind Westlake Apartments was searched Monday afternoon with a second search set for 10 a.m. Tuesday.

A Facebook post from the department says they assisted the Avon Police Department as they searched the pond. A cadaver dog was also being used to search for clues.

Najah Ferrell disappeared in March. A foot identified as belonging to Ferrell was found in a Crown Point retention pond in April.
