Man In MN State Lawmaker Shootings Caught

Green Isle, MN — The suspect in the killing of a Minnesota state lawmaker is in police custody. Vance Boelter was captured alive yesterday near Green Isle after being spotted on a trail earlier Sunday by a camera.
He is accused of killing state lawmaker Melissa Hortman and her husband. He’s also accused of shooting Democratic Senator John Hoffman and his wife multiple times. The Hoffmans survived and are recovering.
