INDIANAPOLIS — The Marion County Coroner’s Office has identified the woman that died in a fatal crash on Indy’s northwest side as 91-year-old Mary Thomas.
The crash happened just before 4 p.m. on Tuesday, at the intersection of 56th Street and High School Road. IMPD officers say a Chevrolet Traverse crashed into a Buick Rendezvous. The Buick then flipped on its side.
Thomas, and the male driver of the Buick, had serious injuries, and were taken to the hospital, where Thomas later died. The man remains in critical condition.
The female driver of the Chevrolet, and the five children inside, were not injured.
The investigation into the crash is still ongoing.
