GARY, Ind. — Two teenagers are in custody for killing a 16-year-old boy who was trying to sell his Xbox in Gary.

Police say Johnny Peluyera was shot to death back on June 12th. He and his father had arranged to meet with someone who contacted them online about buying his Xbox.

When the propsective buyers showed up things soured and Peluyera was shot and killed. Now a 17-year-old and 18-year-old are in custody for that shooting, says Lake County sheriff Oscar Martinez.

Prosecutors say they want to charge the 17-year-old as an adult.
