PARKE COUNTY, Ind. — The man that died in a motorcycle crash in Parke County on Thursday afternoon has been identified.
Robert Klein, 58, of Avon was driving a motorcycle on U.S. 36 near Rockville, when he stopped to make a left turn. Police say that’s when another motorcycle, driven by Jaime Balingit, 60, of Mooresville, rear-ended Klein at nearly 60 miles per hour.
Both drivers were thrown from their bikes.
Police say Klein was not wearing a helmet, and died at the scene.
Balingit, who was wearing a helmet, suffered minor injuries.
