Former Congressman, Presidential candidate, and race-baiter Beto O’Rourke (D-Texas) gleefully told a group of immigrants and refugees this week that the United States was founded on white supremacy and slavery.

Yep! All that gobbledygook in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution was just to distract from the real intention of founders, which was to establish a country where all people of color are condemned to a life of serving their white masters by whatever means said “white folk” desire. Hard labor, laundry, foot rubs – it’s all right there in the founding documents if you read between the lines. Freaking powdered wig-wearing, tights donning racists.

Back to Beto…

During a roundtable event this week in Nashville, TN., Beto spewed forth the following:

“I know this from my home state, Texas, places that formed the Confederacy, that this country was founded on white supremacy. And every single institution and structure that we have in this country still reflects the legacy of slavery and segregation and Jim Crow and suppression, even in our democracy.”

The More You Know:

Jim Crow laws were state and local laws that enforced racial segregation in the Southern United States. All were enacted in the late 19th and early 20th centuries by white far-right Democratic-dominated state legislatures after the Reconstruction period.

“Democratic-dominated,” you say? Huh. Anybody know what party Beto O’Rourke belongs to?
