FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Seducing a child and having child porn are the charges against a police officer in Fort Wayne.
Back in April, Indiana State Police began investigating after a report had been made to a Wayne High School resource officer that Officer Andrew Beck had been having an inappropriate relationship with student.
Investigators were able to confirm that accusation, figuring out that Beck was seeing a 16-year-old girl.
The findings were turned over to the Allen Count prosecutor. Soon after that, Beck was arrested on charges of child seduction, providing obscene matter and performance to a minor, and child pornography.
Right now Beck is in the military and stationed in California, but troopers said with the help of US Marshals, Beck was taken into custody in Rancho Cucamona, California where he is waiting to be extradited back to Indiana.
