MUNCIE, Ind. — A Muncie man is accused of pointing an airsoft rifle at a school bus.

Brandon Amburn was arrested Wednesday after police received multiple reports of a man pointing a gun at a school bus in rural Muncie.

When Delaware County Sheriff’s deputies arrived at Amburn’s home, they found an airsoft rife with a “sniper-style stock and bipod,” reports The Star Press in Muncie.

They then found Amburn hiding under a bed.

Amburn fought with deputies and ended up getting tazered. After being checked out at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital, he was booked into the Delaware County Jail on charges of battery on police, intimidation, and resisting arrest.

Amburn remained in the jail Thursday on $5,000 bond, according to The Star Press.
