INDIANAPOLIS — A man was killed and two other people were injured after a shooting on the city’s east side.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department says it happened around 10 p.m. Saturday, on North Oxford Street, near the intersection of 21st and Rural streets.
A man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A second person who was shot was taken to a hospital in serious condition. Police say a third person was not shot, but suffered trauma to their head.
Their names have not been released.
This is the third shooting in Indianapolis in just over a 24-hour span.
