INDIANAPOLIS — An 18-year-old man is dead after being stabbed on the city’s south side early Friday morning, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
Police said it happened in the 6800 block of Buckridge East Road around 2 a.m. That’s near Madison Avenue and Southport Road.
After arriving on the scene, officers were unable to find the victim. They later learned that the male victim had been taken to a nearby hospital.
The 18-year-old died from his injuries at the hospital.
The Marion County Coroner has identified him as Nathan Cain Henry.
Three people are currently in police custody.
There is no immediate danger to residents in the area, officers said.
The events leading up the fatal stabbing are unclear at this point.
