INDIANAPOLIS— The Kilroy’s in downtown Indy hopes to reopen by the end of November.

Repairs were needed, so the restaurant closed in September. They were hoping to open again October 20, but that didn’t happen. The company said on Facebook that the repair work has been a disaster.

“Long story short—our kitchen and restroom floors started showing signs of distress awhile back. After closing down and starting repairs, it was realized that the entire subfloor had to be removed and replaced as well as both restrooms completely. Another huge disappointment in this situation is that due to the length and cost of this project, we won’t be able to make any visible changes/updates that we had planned to do during this closure,” the post says.

Kilroy’s is known for having big crowds to watch football games on weekends during football season.
