An ‘Anonymous’ author who claims to be at the top of the Trump administration is releasing a new “book” titled “A Warning,” a behind the scenes look into the Presidency of Donald Trump.
The author, who is identified as “a senior official in the Trump administration,” is the same anonymous blabbermouth who penned an op-ed published in September 2018 in The New York Times that described alleged efforts by the rat author and other senior officials to “protect” the country from Trump.
How gracious of said author to protect the country at a time when we are experiencing unparalleled economic prosperity and security. Speaking of which, did anyone notice that the DOW just hit another record high recently?
Understandably, the White House has publicly condemned all excerpts of the book that have emerged so far.
“The coward who wrote this book didn’t put their name on it because it is nothing but lies,” said White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham.
Meanwhile, the Justice Department is seeking information on the identity of the anonymous author.
Fox News confirmed that Justice Department officials asked for details on the anonymous author in a letter to the publisher on Monday, which also indicated that the secretive author could be subject to nondisclosure agreements.
“If the author is, in fact, a current or former ‘senior official’ in the Trump administration, publication of the book may violate that official’s legal obligations under one or more nondisclosure agreements, including nondisclosure agreements that are routinely required with respect to information obtained in the course of one’s official responsibilities or as a condition for access to classified information,” Assistant Attorney General Joseph Hunt wrote. “Such agreements typically require that any written work potentially containing protected information be submitted for pre-publication review. Courts have approved the imposition of a constructive trust to collect the proceeds of the breach generated by an unapproved publication.”
