MUNCIE, Ind. — Imagine getting pelted with eggs and then having the man who threw them vow to kill you. That was the reality for a Muncie woman on Monday.
Police were called to an apartment building on East Jackson Street, where a woman told police that James Caudill slapped her, punched her and threw several eggs at her.
Police said the woman had several stains on her clothes and face that looked to be from egg yolk.
Caudill admitted to throwing the eggs but said he didn’t hit her, said police.
Police say that Caudill seemed intoxicated, and was taken to IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital for testing. While he was there, he’s accused of yelling, screaming and cussing.
Police say that he also claimed several times that as soon as he gets out of jail, he intends to kill the woman who accused him.
The Muncie Star Press said that Caudill was arrested on preliminary charges of intimidation, domestic battery, resisting law enforcement and disorderly conduct.
