Indiana ends 80-year wait, beats Ohio State for Big Ten title

INDIANAPOLIS — Three adults hurt in Indianapolis when a group of people had met up for a fistfight and it turned into a shooting.

IMPD Officer Genae Cook says the adults had agreed to meet up in Indy’s Old Southside neighborhood for a good old-fashioned scrap — no guns. Except one of them decided not to follow that rule.

“Either just before the fistfight started or during it, a person produced a weapon and started shooting,” said Cook. “All parties involved are adults and here we are acting like children.”

Witnesses heard at least a dozen gunshots coming from the alley where the fight was happening. Three people were shot and at least two suspects have been arrested.
